Chief Product and Strategy Officer, National Command and Staff College
Justin King brings over 33 years of military, federal law enforcement, and global leadership experience to his role as Chief Product and Strategy Officer of the National Command and Staff College. A former DEA Senior Executive and Special Agent in Charge, Justin has led high-stakes operations, training programs, and strategic initiatives across the U.S. and in more than eight countries.
Renowned for his ability to build resilient teams and elevate organizational performance, Justin has successfully designed and implemented leadership development programs, international training efforts, and operational frameworks for elite law enforcement units. His work has shaped tactical and strategic responses in complex environments including Afghanistan, Mexico, and Ukraine.
During his tenure with the DEA, Justin led major divisions, directed the agency’s international training programs, and helped establish its elite Special Response Teams. Earlier, he served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, instruction, and operational readiness.
A top graduate of the National Command and Staff College, Justin also completed executive education at the University of Notre Dame and UVA’s Darden School of Business. He holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma and is known for his passionate, people-first approach to leadership and mission success.
